AMSTERDAM – Miley Cyrus has wrapped herself in yet more controversy after apparently smoking a ‘cannabis joint’ as she went to accept a prize in another barely-there outfit at the MTV Europe Music Awards.
The singer, who shocked audiences at the MTV Video Music Awards earlier this year by twerking against Robin Thicke, raised eyebrows again by sparking up on stage.
Smoking marijuana is tolerated in Amsterdam where the awards bash was held last night and Miley made the most of it by seemingly taking a joint out of her Chanel bag and lighting up as she collected the gong for best video for Wrecking Ball .
Us Weekly reports that Miley was also chain smoking backstage at the ceremony at Ziggo Dome.
There was concern too from Twitter users disturbed that Miley had put her crotch on display with a dangerously skimpy white bodysuit - one of her many outfit changes.
SmilerHYPE said: ‘So I don’t care if Miley lit a joint on stage, I just hated that slutty outfit, really miles we didn’t need to see your crotch.’
Juliee_Desiree posted: ‘Half of Miley’s crotch was out was I the only one that noticed.’
BW_13 wrote: ‘Miley .. Your crotch is about to fall out sweety.’
Miley kicked off the ceremony with her a space-themed performance of We Can’t Stop, which saw her twerking with a female dwarf.
